Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Almi iOS app. By using Almi you agree to them. Almi is operated by Mohit Sharma, an individual developer based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us").
Your account
You need an account to use Almi. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
Subscription and billing
- Almi is a paid subscription. New accounts get a 7-day free trial; after it ends, an active subscription is required to log entries.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Current pricing is shown in the app before you purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy, not by us.
Acceptable use
Don't use Almi to break the law, don't attempt to access other users' data, don't reverse-engineer or attack the service, and don't automate access or resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
The entries you log remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service: storing your entries, processing them to produce nutrition estimates, and displaying them back to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
Availability
We aim to keep Almi running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue it entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Accuracy
Nutrition estimates are produced by an AI model from the text you write. They are approximations and may be wrong. You are responsible for how you use them.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Almi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on nutrition estimates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You may stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and notify you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Almi after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of Abu Dhabi. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
